2025 Daytona 500 Qualifiers: Brissoe on Pole, Square appointed by Duels

Nascar’s Daytona 500 on Fox has a unique qualified format. It is not the simplest understanding.

In addition to complex rehabilitation procedures is a new base that can add (but not guarantee) a 41-year-old car in recent years-a field of 40 cars.

We will try to break everything here about how the field is set for the February 16 race in the Daytona International Speedway.

How does Daytona 500 qualify?

36 drivers of rented cars in the race. Here is the list of drivers: ALLMEREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREREE: In Dillon, Ty Dillon, Chase Illiott, Ty Gibbs, Todd Gilliland, Noah Gragson, Justin Haley, Denny Hamlin, Riley Herbst, Carson Hocevar, Erik Jones, Brad Keselowski, Kyle Larson, Joey Logano, Michael MCDOWell, John Hunter Emechek, Ryan Preece, Tyler Reddick, Zane Smith, Ricky Steenhouse Jr. Daniel Suarez, Shane Van Gisbergen, Bubba Wallace and Cody Ware.

The remaining stains are filled with unwanted open cars. There are nine open drivers: Anthony Alfredo, Justin Al -Ajer, Helio Castronfis, Jimmy Johnson, Korean Lagi, BJ McCleloid, Chandler Smith, Martin Trox Junior and Ji J.

Open drivers earn their locations in two ways. They can either enter by being the highest open driver in their qualified race on Thursday. Or if they do not advance through the qualifying race, they can enter by being one of the two best open cars (not those who advanced through the qualified race) in one qualified car on Wednesday.

– Castroneves is an open but closed car in the field through a new base for 2025 that allows Naskar to grant a site for a driver with elite credentials and will also enhance the marketing of the event. The Trackhouse race team was the only one to apply before the deadline for this special temporary, so he was the only one that NASCAR consider it.

But there is hunting. If he is using temporary, his team does not get any award for the event. So he hopes to naturally rehabilitate his way. If it is naturally qualified as an open car, it will be a 40 -cars field and will lose five open -race cars. If it is not naturally qualified and uses temporary, this field will be 41 cars and will lose four open race cars.

On Wednesday, a car qualification was held. Chase BrissCoe won the pole for the DayTona 500 and Austin Cindric got a spot in the front row. Truex and Johnson imprisoned themselves in the DayTona 500 field as the two fastest open cars – because they could always return in their time if they did not advance in races Thursday evening.

-Two races will determine 150 miles (60 rpm) on Thursday night the start assortment, in addition to filling the remaining two positions in this field. 36 rented teams will be divided evenly between these two race based on their qualifying speed on Wednesday night (its first race, the first, third, fifth, etc., and the second race holds that second, fourth, sixth, etc.). Nine open cars divided – Truex, Allgaier, Castroneves, Chandler Smith and Yey in the first race; Johnson, Luji, Alfredo and McLOD in the second race – based on their qualified speed in the same way. All cars will work at their speed.

-The top open driver in both races on Thursday night gets a place in the Dynona 500 field. Among the seven open drivers who remained after that, the two with the best qualifying speed from Wednesday night make it as well. If Castroneves is not one of these open drivers who win a place, he will get 41 and last place in this field (four open drivers will fail to qualify for the race). If one of these four drivers is, it will be a field of 40 cars (five drivers will fail to qualify for the race).

So, here are the scenarios of each of the open drivers:

– Truex and Johnson: They are in DayTona 500 because they can back away from speed.

– Allgaier: It is if he is the best open driver in a duel. If Truex is the best open driver in the first fencing or if Johnson is the best open driver in his duel, allgaier enters.

– Lajoie: It is if he is the best open driver in a duel. If Truex or Allgaier is the best open driver in the first fencing and Johnson is the best open driver in the second fencing, Lajoie enters.

Castronfis: It is in the race, either as the best open driver in a duel or temporary.

– Chandler Smith, Yili, Alfredo and McLOD must be over as an open driver in a duel to make Dynona 500.

– The results of the first race will determine the interior of rows from 2 to 19, and the results of the second race from the outside of rows will start from 2 to 19 years. The two open drivers who make the race will start on a consecutive speed of 20 (spots 39 and 40). If Castroneves enters the temporary, it will start 41.
