Jam Hsiao signs with Sony Music in Tri-Market Partnership

JAM HSIAO Heavyweight Mandopop has generated a big deal with Sony Music Entertainment.

The first partnership for Sony Music is to unify its operations across the mainland of China, Hong Kong and Taiwan in a coordinated strategy in the triple market to support one artist. Cooperation aims to exaggerate the global HSIAO arrival in the umbrella of the China region and the Great Mandarin in Sony.

HSIAO, who first appeared in 2007, built a reputation as one of the most performance artists in Mandopop, and won the title “King of Mandopop”. The Golden Melody Award winner is known as his powerful songs, including Rock, Ballads, and Jazz. “The Song of Love for You” and “Princess”, which tops its scheme “Love for You” and “Princess”, helped to establish it as a major base, with tours sold throughout Asia and beyond.

Under the new deal, HSIAO will immediately start working in a new album while planning for the main concerts of Asia and international markets. Sony Music will benefit from its global network to follow cooperation through the industry, which extends to the artist’s arrival in new regions.

“This is not just a new chapter; it is a new start,” said HSIAO. “The partnership with Sony Music is an opportunity to pushing my voice further and sharing the MandOPP power with the world. I am ready to create music that arrives strongly and communicates with everyone.”

“JAM is a global power in Mandopop,” said Andrew Chan, CEO of Sony Music Entertainment.
