Trump calls Charlie Kirk amid Tijook’s negotiations with China

President Donald Trump on Friday to the late Charlie Kerk, while he announced a deal with Chinese President Xi Jinping to keep Tijook available in the United States
Speaking to journalists at the Oval Office on Friday, Trump shared that he had made a successful phone call with Jinping on Friday morning, where he reached a deal to maintain the social media platform available to American users by stripping some of his ownership to American business leaders.
He said that Chinese leaders, American youth and even conservative leaders want to maintain the platform in the United States
“The Tiktok deal is on its way,” he said.

He pointed to the popularity of the platform among American youth and confirmed that Kirk encouraged its use to communicate with the youth.

Trump won the presence of Kirk to take advantage of social media platforms such as Tiktok to get “huge numbers of young people” to vote for him and Republicans in 2024.

This comes at a time when Trump has been repeatedly delayed in implementing a law passed by Congress in 2024 to ban Tijook in the United States unless he injured the ownership of his American operations from China to America.
