Trump was angry at “Salem bad” at the United Nations, where the White House undertakes to investigate a malfunction Donald Trump
Donald Trump was laughing on Tuesday when one of the elevators and contemporary remotely exposed to a visit to the United Nations – but for American officials, it was not laughing.
The White House said that the investigation was launched whether the mobile staff had been intentionally stopped to humiliate the American president, who later carried out the global body in his speech to the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
“If we find that this United Nations and the employees who were trying on the journey, they were literally wandering to the president and the first lady of the United States, well, the best accountability for these people. I will see this personally,” said Caroline Levitt, a White House press secretary.
Levitte also posted to X after the accident: “If someone at the United Nations is intentionally stopped moving stairs … they must be expelled and investigated immediately.”
A UN spokesman said the accident occurred because someone in front of Trump accidentally led to the closure of the safety mechanism on the elevator, causing it to be closed.
In a statement earlier in the day, Levitt referred to a report in the Times of London newspaper on Sunday saying that United Nations staff had joking that they would stop the moving stairs and “tell him that they have run out of money” amid funding discounts for us.
Many of the White House and conservative commentators also speculated a plot against Trump.
The shots of the 79 -year -old president and first lady Melania Trump showed the elevator at the United Nations headquarters, before stopping with a dangerous presence after a short distance.
“Bad mobile stairs”
Trump’s bad luck lasted when his TelePrombter was not working for the beginning of the speech.
“Everyone who runs this TelepromPter is in a big problem,” Trump said.
Then he continued – joking – linking the two incidents with what he said was the multiple United Nations ’failures, including the lack of support for his efforts in peace in a series of conflicts.
“I have ended seven wars, I dealt with the leaders of each of these countries, and I have never received a phone call from the United Nations,” Trump said.
“All I got from the United Nations was safe, on the way, she stopped directly in the middle. If she was not in good condition, she would have fallen, but she was in good condition. We are in good condition.”
He added: “These are the two things that I got from the United Nations, a bad animated peace and a remote introduction. Thank you very much.”
But the United Nations insisted on the presence of simple explanations.
“A later investigation, including reading the CPU, indicated that the elevator has stopped after a built -in safety mechanism on the comb was operated at the top of the elevator,” said Stephen Dujarric, the spokesman for the United Nations Secretary -General Antonio Guterres, in a statement.
The video photographer, who depicts the arrival of the American delegation, “may be inadvertently raised the safety function shown above,” the statement continued.
Dujarrik said earlier to Agence France -Presse that the elevator was “reset” and soon returned to work.
“With regard to participating in TelePROMPTER, we have no comment since the White House is operated remotely to the American president.”
