Uber eats a drone delivery test in US test markets this year

Uber prepares to eat to deliver your dinner from the sky. The company has announced that it is a partnership with Flytrex, a drone for delivery of drones, to start offering test markets in the United States by the end of this year.
Although Uber has not yet called the first cities, Flytrex is already active in Texas and North Carolina, so it is possible that these areas are likely to see the first trips. This step represents the first investment of Uber in drone technology and a major step in the increasing independent delivery industry.

Why the drones became the future of delivery
Dronitial delivery operations are transmitted from future concepts to daily life. Companies like The wing owned by Google Zipline is already partnership with Walmart, Doordash and even hospitals to provide goods and medical supplies. Amazon also tests Air Prime drones to shorten delivery times.
Flytrex, based in Tel Aviv, Israel, has recorded more than 200,000 successful delivery operations throughout the United States, which is accredited by drones with FAA to fly beyond the visual sight, allowing them to expand the scope of delivery services while meeting strict safety standards.

What Uber says about drone shipments
Uber believes that this next stage in logistical services. Sarvraz Mardia, president of Uber for independent movement and delivery, said the partnership is about speed and sustainability. “With Flytrex, we enter the next chapter – which leads to the speed and sustainability of the delivery of drones to the Uber platform for eating, on a large scale, for the first time.” He added.
Flytrex CEO Nam Barden chanted this vision, describing drones as “the future of food delivery quickly, affordable, and hands -free.”

For customers, this may mean receiving meals, snacks or essentials in just minutes, instead of waiting half an hour or more. Delivery delivery also has the ability to reduce traffic congestion, reduce emissions and low costs compared to traditional quick mail services.
