The former Los Angeles Mayor’s Vice -Dean of Angels’ sentence for a year on charges of threatening a threat of a bomb Los Angeles
A former member of the senior staff of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, was sentenced to Monday for a year to invite her to a false threat of a bomb in front of the city council while attending a virtual meeting in 2024.
During the verdict of the ruling in an American partial court, Brian Ki Williams admitted that he had told the police a lie in October 2024 that he had received a call on his mobile phone issued by the city from an unknown man who said he placed a bomb in the city hall, Los Angeles Times I mentioned. Williams has been a regulatory officer for the law for a long time and worked as deputy mayor of Pass Public Safety.
Williams wrote in the text, according to the representatives of the prosecution: “The caller stated that he was tired of the city’s support for Israel, and decided to put a bomb in the city hall. It may be in the round hall.” He said he called the Los Angeles Police Department, who sent officers to search the building.
The newspaper said that Williams Dmitry Goren’s lawyer referred to “non -diagnostic mental health challenges”, which he said his client had been treated because of it.
Prosecutors said in a note that preceded the pronouncement of the ruling, that Williams reported the threat “after he became tension and anxiety and was desperate to get out of a continuous meeting.”
In May, Williams agreed to confess guilt on one charge related to fire and explosives threats.
Prosecutors indicated that Williams has no previous criminal convictions or condemnation.
