Investment bank ACF plans to drive European mergers and acquisitions

In another sign that the international M&A market is booming, investment bank ACF is setting up an office in Germany and has appointed industry veteran Bernd Wendlen to lead it. He will assume the role of Head of Mergers and Acquisitions for Europe, overseeing ACF’s European strategy and expanding its footprint across the continent. The opening of the Munich office marks ACF’s fourth base, with offices already open in Los Angeles, London and New York. “Germany represents a key market for the next chapter of growth for ACF,” said Thomas Day, CEO of ACF. Wendeln previously served as Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at Verve Group and was a member of the Board of Directors and COO of Your Family Entertainment in Germany. He has also held senior positions in mergers, acquisitions and corporate development at Tele München Group, now part of Mediawan, and ProSiebenSat.1 Media. Prime Video teams up with Hrithik Roshan for the thriller series
