WNBA playoff bracket, Finals schedule: Aces vs. Mercury, the TV channel, where to watch

The 2025 WNBA Finals between the Las Vegas Aces and Phoenix Mercury will continue on Friday night with Game 4. The Aces, who won Game 3 in dramatic fashion on a last-second jumper from A’ja Wilson, have a chance to sweep and win their third title in the last four years.

The Mercury must win to keep their season alive, and they will have the full support of their raucous fans. However, they will be without star forward Satou Sabally, who was ruled out of Game 4 due to a concussion in the fourth quarter of Game 3. Sabally is the team’s leading scorer in the Finals at 21.7 points per game, and her production will not be easy to replace.

To reach the Finals, the Aces won a thrilling Game 5 in overtime against the Indiana Fever on Tuesday night. The loss ended the underdog’s run for the sixth-seeded, injury-plagued Fever. Las Vegas, the No. 2 seed, will have home-court advantage in the best-of-seven WNBA Finals.

The Mercury knocked off the top-seeded Minnesota Lynx in the semifinals in four games. They are looking for their first WNBA title since 2014. At the same time, they are looking for their third title in the past four seasons.

The first round saw several exciting matches, and three of the four series went to a deciding Game 3. The shortened Fever took down the third seed Atlanta Dream in a major upset, knocking the Dream out on their home turf. The Aces won a narrow Game 3 over the Seattle Storm after their 17-game winning streak was snapped in a Game 2 first-round loss. The Mercury upset the reigning champion New York Liberty, knocking them out despite losing their series opener in overtime.

Here’s a look at the fixtures and full schedule for the 2025 playoffs.

WNBA playoff bracket

Teams played a best-of-three series in the first round, a best-of-five series in the semifinals, and — in a new change this year — will play a best-of-seven series in the finals.

In 2024, the first round was a 2-1 format, meaning the higher seed got the first two games at home, while the lower seed could only host if it reached Game 3. This year it’s a 1-1-1 format, with the higher seed hosting Games 1 and 3 while the lower seed hosts Game 2.

All games are broadcast on ABC, ESPN and ESPN2 Fubo (Try for free).
