A Florida man faces federal charges after a string of botched crimes at two St. Petersburg convenience stores.
Justin Farley is already in prison awaiting trial on state charges of commercial burglary and grand larceny for his ill-advised convenience store crimes, and has now been indicted by a federal grand jury in Tampa Bay, which added a federal charge of interference with commerce by menace or violence under the Hobbs Act.
Any convictions would add to the already extensive rap sheet of an idiot who is up to no good due to the latest crime comedy of errors.

In true “Florida Man” fashion, Farley managed to get himself a federal felony charge while completely making a fool of himself in the process.
According to police reports, Farley wore a ski mask and carried a replica Glock pistol when he entered the St. Petersburg Circle K. He confronted an employee and exited the store with $7,000 worth of scratch-off lottery tickets from the store’s counter.
He obviously didn’t realize the scratches were worthless until they were scanned, but he drove off and scratched his little outlaw’s heart.
About forty minutes later, he went to a nearby 7-Eleven and was met with disappointment when he couldn’t cash the winning tickets. He was not deterred, so he changed his clothes and returned to the crime scene. He tries to cash out lottery tickets from the same store he stole them from.
After being denied yet again, the lame thief returns to the 7-Eleven store and, after being denied cash again for stolen scratch-offs, decides to rob the place. He walked away with $120.00 and a set of Newports.
Keep in mind that he was driving his own car during the back and forth robberies, and the police had his license plate number to go along with a lot of the security camera footage of Farley committing the crimes.
