The charges relate to a report filed on April 7, 2024, in which the Osefo family claimed their home was broken into while they were in Jamaica and “approximately 80” items were stolen, according to the sheriff. The alleged stolen items, including jewelry, luxury goods, clothing and shoes, totaled more than $200,000.

Investigators found that the couple returned at least $20,000 in stolen items to the stores they were originally purchased from before the “burglary,” according to TMZ. They also found evidence that Wendy was wearing a diamond ring that she reported missing after the alleged incident. “My family and I are devastated and feel violated by this intrusion,” Osifo said He told TMZ at that time. “We thank God that no one was home…so we feel very lucky. Material things can always be replaced.”

On October 13, Andy Cohen said he was “really sad” to see the news about Dr. Wendy. “I want to say that I, like all of you, found out about the charges against Wendy and Eddie Osifo on Friday morning and there is not much more I can say,” he said.
