Chiara Aurelia and Morgan Spector join Lindsay Calleran’s indie film “Caity.”

Aurelia plays 16-year-old Katie, who, along with her newly sober father Paul (Spector), prepares for the new Halloween season at their family-owned haunted house. When Katie recognizes signs of relapse in Paul, she tries to cover them up but struggles to deal with them while testing her relationship with substances and falling in love with new employee Hannah.

The film was shot by Susan Schill, on location at Kevin McCurdy’s haunted mansion in Wappingers Falls, New York. Elizabeth Munda and Malcolm Thorndyke Nicholson are its producers.

She is best known for her starring role in Freeform’s film Harsh summerfor which she received a Critics’ Choice Award nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series, Aurelia comes from back-to-back Broadway theatrical performances for which she was nominated for a Tony Award.
