Kristen Bell has seen the script, and the cast will begin production soon

Winter is coming.

Kristen Bell said the Frozen 3 crew will soon begin production on the third installment of the hit animated musical series.

Although she hasn’t heard any of the new songs for Frozen 3, Bell, who plays Anna, says she has seen the script for the film.

“That’s all I can say. I’m under lock and key,” she said, but also explained the script process.

“It’s all mostly like conceptual stuff at first, like: ‘This is where we think it should go,’” Bell said. “That’s the great thing about Disney is that they go through thousands of filters, not to be diplomatic, but because everyone will add something different. That’s why the films turn out so well because they hit every mark because nothing is missed.”

“Frozen 3” will be released in 2027. Visual development art for the film revealed in August 2024 shows Elsa (Idina Menzel) on a white horse and Anna on a brown stag.

Lee wrote and co-directed the Oscar-winning animated feature “Frozen” with Chris Buck, as well as “Frozen II,” set in the fantasy kingdom of Arendelle and featuring a voice cast led by Bell, Menzel, Jonathan Groff as Kristoff and Josh Gad as Olaf the Snowman.

“Frozen” Part 1 premiered in 2013, followed by Part 2 six years later.

I caught up with Bill Thursday night at the Season 2 premiere of “Nobody Wants This” at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood.

While “Nobody Wants This” star Leighton Meester, wife of Adam Brody, makes a guest appearance in Season 2, Bell says her husband Dax Shepard would probably “never do” the same. “He loves podcasting,” she said, referring to “Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard.”

Well, Nobody Wants This is about two sisters who co-host a podcast. “But he’s still acting, and there’s something whole that comes with that. It’s like you have to do the hair and make-up, memorize the lines and then you’re there all day,” Bell said. “He’s very happy and satisfied with his career. “I mean he will do it if you ask him clearly, but I’m not asking him to do anything he’s not eager to do.”

Nobody Wants This Season 2 premieres on Netflix on October 23.
