NFL Week 12 Staff Picks: Moneyline, Spread, Over/Under Projections
The NFL season is starting, and the playoff picture, at least those who will and won’t be in the mix, is starting to take shape. As it stands now, the Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions — the top seeds in the AFC and NFC, respectively — are on the outside, as well as the Minnesota Vikings and Baltimore Ravens. It’s been a tough 11 weeks so far, and it’s going to be an exciting race to the finish.
As we have done in past seasons, our staff will make weekly predictions for every game on the NFL schedule. Each Pride of Detroit employee will choose the moneyline (winner of the game, no spread), but some members will also choose against the spread and even over/under lines — there’s a handy toggle button in the widget below to navigate through the settings and next week, check out our records when it comes to picks. You can also check out all the odds for this week’s games from FanDuel Sportsbook.

We’re back to non-division games on Thursday night, what a waste. At 8:15 PM ET on Amazon Prime, the Buffalo Bills (7-3) take on the Houston Texans (5-5) at NRG Stadium on this week’s episode of “Thursday Night Football.”
There are four teams on bye this week — the Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Chargers and Washington Commanders — so the NFL has 12 games scheduled for Sunday. The NRL is over, so there will be no more international football until next season.
Home Detroit fans will have two options to choose from at 1 p.m. On CBS, most Michiganders will get an interesting matchup when the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4) travel to the Windy City to take on the top dog in the NFC North – the Chicago Bears (7-3). On FOX in the same time slot, the Detroit Lions (6-4) host the New York Giants (2-9) to round out your local coverage at 1 p.m. In the late window, FOX has an NFC East showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles (8-2) and the Dallas Cowboys (4-5-1) of the Lone Star State at 4:25 p.m. ET.
“Sunday Night Football” wraps up the day of football with a matchup between two of the best teams in the NFC when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-4) travel to California to take on the Los Angeles Rams (8-2) at 8:20 PM ET on NBC.
