Texas lawmakers think about banning gender changes on birth certificates
Legislative legislators of the Legislative Board of Texas are studying a bill that prohibits people in the state to change the gender mark in their birth certificate to reflect their sexual identity.
The procedure is now discussed, the Senate Law 406, in the Senate in Texas.
Last year, the Texas Ministry of Public Safety stopped changing sex on driver’s licenses unless the courts intervene, according to Fox 4.
The Senate Bill would prevent changes in the gender of birth certificates, regardless of whether there is an order from the court.
