Prep Talk: The Bibli Venice is 21-1 and rises in the city section


With 12-2 victory over Liola on Saturday, the baseball team in Venice improved to 21-1 and puts itself in the high qualifying qualifiers in the open city section.

While the West Valley League award winner, either Birmingham or El Kamino Real, is the potential first seed, the gun has a good argument to leave it. Gondoliers is 14-0 in the Western League and beats the leader of the Mission League in the Sun Valley Polle and their victory over El Segundo, which is 17-6-1.

Coach Kevin Brookway has a team dominated by senior Noel Moreno, 8-1 with 0.58 era. Sophomore Jace Lindblom is 5-0 and Canon King is 6-0. The presence of three high -quality jugs is necessary to win the open section title in the city.

King leads the team to hit 30 visits. In Venice, there are six games in its regular schedule in the season, as the matches are scheduled to be against San Fernando and San Pedro the most difficult.
