Elysees donate a million dollars to help the families of migrants affected by federal raids

The Los Angeles Dodgers team donated a million dollars to help the families affected by two weeks of migration raids in southern California.

The champions of the global chain defense also said on Friday that they intend to form partnerships with the California Community Foundation, the Los Angeles Province Union to work and other organizations to continue providing assistance to migrant families.

“What is happening in Los Angeles bounced between thousands of people, and we have heard invitations to us to assume a leadership role on behalf of the affected people,” said Dodgers Stean Castin. “We believe that by committing resources and taking measures, we will continue to support and raise the major Los Angeles societies.”

The evaders announced the steps in a five -paragraph press statement that was accurately formulated to avoid potential political terminology, which has stopped an explicit condemnation of federal policy. The team only said that financial aid will be provided to “migrant families affected by recent events in the region.”

“I think it’s great,” said Davits, director of Dodgers, before his team faced Washington. “I am sure that the money will be allocated in the right way. I am pleased to hear that the evaders did so, and it is definitely the right thing to do.”

The evaders were briefly at the Southern California opposition center for the federal immigration policy when the team asked the federal agents to leave the stadium on Thursday after collecting a car park near one of the gates.

Dozens of federal agents arrived with their faces largely covered near the entrance to the stadium gate in SUVs and charging trucks. A group of demonstrators carrying signs against the United States for immigration and customs arrived shortly, and the agents eventually left.

Roberts claimed that his players did not discuss the situation in the club on a large scale, but some evaders were noticing. Kike Hernandez, a Portoresto citizen, criticized social media raids at the end of last week. The Pameer Pesspol Jaime Garne, the Spanish linguist in Dodgers has spoken from 1959 until his retirement in 2022, against federal procedures.

The mayor of Los Angeles Karen Pass praised the Hurithian statement of the team.

“I would thank the evaders for leading this measure to support the migrant community in Los Angeles,” she said. “The past weeks have sent shock waves of fear through every neighborhood and had a direct impact on our economy. My message to all Angelinus is clear: we will adhere together during this time, and we will not manage our appearance on each other – and this makes this the greatest city in the world.”

The fans and legislators called for the evaders for several days to make an unambiguous statement on opposition to the raids, given the vast Latin fans base and its severe impact in the region. Other teams in the region expressed their solidarity with the immigrant community, including Los Angeles FC and Angel City FC.

American MP Jimmy Gomez, who represents the Los Angeles region, went on social media earlier on Friday to ask the evaders to speak.

Gomez wrote: “In a city where 36 % of the population is migrants and about 40 % of the fans’ base of the team is Latin, saying nothing is disappointing only – it’s betrayal and insult,” Gomez wrote. “Silence is not an option. It’s an option.”
