Arizona star Diamonggrax Ketel Marti received a warm welcoming from Diamondbacks fans in the first half of the team’s 9-8 loss to Miami Marilyals in Chis Field on Friday night.
This was the first match for the team at home since DiamondBacks 4-1 won on Chicago White Sox on Tuesday when a fans shouted with insulting comments about Marti’s late mother, Elbidia Valdez. She died in a car accident in the Dominican Republic in 2017.
