Jake Ball surpasses Julio Cesar Chavez Junior after 10 rounds
Jake Ball’s expected return to the ring ended with a victory over Julio Cesar Chavez Junior after going 10 rounds.
The battle took place at the Honda Center in Anaim, California on Saturday evening. With 11 wins and one loss, including seven wins in a knockout, the boxing match represents this last victory for Paul after stopping for seven months of this sport. His most declared battle was against Mike Tyson In November 2024, which ended with the defeat of Paul with a 58 -year -old boxing boxer. The event has become one of the most watched sporting events on Netflix, with a climax of about 65 million viewers in the world.
Outside Tyson, Chavez Junior achieved a powerful record with 54 wins, one withdrawn one and six losses, including 34 knockouts. From 2011 to 2012, he won the WBC medium weight title to lose to Sergio Martinez in the same year. Since then, he has faced his highest level and lowest level throughout his career, including a previous defeat in 2021 against the former UFC medium weight hero, Anderson Silva, who was defeated by Paul in 2022.
His father, the former world champion, has expressed three times, Julio Cesar Chavez, his high hopes for his son before entering the ring with Paul.
“All the battles are difficult. Jake Ball is a young and strong, but he did not face a fighter like my son,” he said during a press conference in May. “I had given Mike Tyson a better battle. He didn’t throw a single punch in the entire battle. This time is different.”
