The former UFC fighter, Ben Asrin, announced that he was released from Tuesday after a battle with severe pneumonia that led to a dual lung transplant.
40 -year -old Askren published a video update from his car, which his wife was driving after his release from the hospital.
On “Today 59”, Asnner explained how 50 lbs lost while he was transferred to the hospital. Worse than that, describing the approach to death.

“I am outside, with my beautiful wife. Supporting. A man, this was a long journey, and it wasn’t ended because I still can’t walk really,” Asnner said in the video. “I [have to] I continue to restore myself to do so, among many other things. I think I can shed light on it because it was me, and I don’t really remember it. But Amy, how much did I get off? “
After a temporary pause, Asnner’s wife answered, “Very close. Several times.”

“But I got a double lung transplant. I reached the other side of it. I gained a great deal of strength. Learn to use everything again. I was 147 lbs. I hadn’t reached 147 lbs 15 years ago … so this was a battle. I don’t remember most of them.”
Amy Askrin said in early July, her husband received a dual lung transplant and was asking for prayers.
Askren has recently signed with Rea American Freestyle, The Hulk Hogan Venture, hoping to encourage free professional wrestling.
The 40 -year -old was the NCAA champion in the 170 -pound section in 2006 and 2007 and competed with the United States of America in the 2008 Olympics. He won gold medals in the 2005 American Championship and World Championship 2009.

Askren moved completely to MMA fighting when he first appeared in Bellator in 2010. He competed in one championship before moving to UFC.
Askrin Ruby Luller fought and won the presentation at UFC 235 before falling to Jorge Masonal. Then, in 2021, ASKREN Jake Ball fought in a boxing match, and he was expelled in the first round.
