The Alabama coach Nate Oats (somewhat) explains the reason for the top scorer of Mark Cepers against LSU
Alabama goalkeeper Mark Celes entered a match on Saturday night against LSU in leading the team and the southeastern conference in scoring, but he was held without goals and spent the entire second half of the Crimson Tide 80-73 victory over the bench.
“We have played the players who thought we were giving us the best chance to win the second half,” Alabama coach, Nate Appama, said.
Cears, which preceded him in all Americans, went to 19 points per game, from 0 against 5 from the stadium with three rebound balls, three passes and two transformations.
Oats referred to defensive consistency, especially in the second half, as a reason for the formation changes.
“I did not think that our defense in the second half was good recently, so we pointed to the players, we have finished starting the same group that begins the game,” said Otz. “Our defense was much better in the second half than it was in the first half, and we did not do so much this year.”
