Zohran Mamdani meets with the actors JeFFRies and Clarke as Democrats in New York, withholding approvals

The Democratic Candidate in New York City met Zahran Mamdani with the leader of the minority in the House of Representatives, Hakim Jeffrez, and DN.
“Zahran joined the Congress Clark and a member of Congress Jeffrez today to meet with black clergy leaders from all over Brooklyn.”
Jeffrez and Clared is among the Democratic leaders, including the governor of the state, Cathy Hochol and the leader of the Senate Senator Chuck Schumer, who have not yet been affected by Mamdani after his primary victory in June.
“They participated in a large-scale discussion on a number of issues, including the crisis of the ability to bear urgent costs and the approach of the black New York residents from the five municipalities-Zahran participated in his agenda to ensure that all New Yorker is able to continue to call this city home and live a life of dignity.”

A meeting was held on Tuesday in a church in Beford-STUYVESANT, Brooklyn, which is located at the heart of the Jeffrez County in Congress. Clark, who also represents parts of Brooklyn, is the head of the black Congress gathering.

“I think there was a very meaningful exchange,” Clark NY1 said after the meeting. “The gathering member Mamdani has a platform he was working on, and he wanted to know how this applies to the societies in which they reside.”
Clark said that the priests “wanted an intimate environment as they could speak to their live experiences and live experiences of their supplications.”
She told the same port last month that she wanted to ask Mamdani about his previous refusal to condemn the term “globalization of the uprising”, a term that he said since then that he discourages others from using it.

Jeffrez met Mamdani earlier this summer, but the leader of the minority in the House of Representatives stopped supporting the self -described socialist candidate.
Jeffrez emphasized the “Union’s case” from CNN on Sunday his plan to meet Mamdani this week, with confirmation that his first meeting with Mamdani in July was “very frank and axis of society.”
“I don’t think we have blocked support,” Jeffrez said. “We are participating in a conversation about the future of New York City, on issues to be addressed.”

While both Democrats stopped supporting Mamdani after their meeting on Tuesday, other Democrats in New York, including Alexandria Alexandria Cortez, Nidia Villazkuiz, Jerry Nadler, and Adriano Espela, threw their political weight behind the 33 -year -old candidate.
Mamdani also traveled to Washington, DC, earlier this summer, where the main delay Wokassio Cortez hosted breakfast with national Democrats. Mamdani met many progressive leaders, including Senator Bernie Sanders, an early supporter of his campaign.

However, their Democratic representatives in New York Tom Suzuzi, Dan Goldman, Gregory Mix, Richie Torres, George Latimer and Grace Ming have not yet supported Mamdani.
