“It is just racist and stupid”

Jeffrey Wright thinks about the reverse reaction to his heart Batman Jim Gordon.

In an interview with him recently, I saw his ideas about the controversy created by the book of comic who were criticizing his role for the role of the previous white men played.

Wright was the first black actor to play the role of the Partham City Police Commissioner, followed by JK Simmons in Justice Association Zach SnyderGary Oldman at Christopher Nolan Dark Knight Triple, Batt Hingel in Tim Burton, Joel Schumacher, and Bin McKenzi in Gotham First Division TVS.

Wright told Collision. “It is just racist and stupid.”

He continued, saying: “It is very blind in a way that I find that revealing the lack of realization that the development of these films reflects the development of society, so that this is in one way or another that spoils this privilege because it was not kept on the basis of the cultural reality of 1939 when the books were published for the first time.

The actor pointed out that he wanted Gordon “based on the internal characteristics of Gordon that we found all over the comic, but Gordon was in the twenty -first century at the same time.”

“What I love in Batman is how brave and available to reach him.” Therefore, any Gotham must be in a contemporary film in the authentic Batman series to reflect the modern American capital. This is what it is. You just have to ride the metro in New York City to understand what it looks like.

Wright starred Matt Reeves Batman Besides Robert Pattinson, he will restore his role in the completion that will be issued on October 1, 2027.
