Protect the independence declaration in our 250 year
The discussion was transferred about the American Christian foundations in the spotlight last week thanks to the background between Senator Tim Kane, D-FA, and Senator Ted Cruz, R-Texas.
Speaking to a federal candidate, Kane mocked the idea that rights are based on anything other than the government.
“The idea that rights do not come from laws and do not come from the government, but it comes from the Creator – this is what the Iranian government believes,” Kane said. “The statement that our rights do not come from our laws or our governments are very worrying.”
After Kane left the session, the Senator Ted Cruz, R-TEXAS, was strongly on the comments.
Cruz said: “I almost came out of my chair because” the radical and dangerous idea ” – with his words – is literally the founding principle that the United States of America was created,” Cruz said.
He continued to quote the words of Thomas Jefferson in the declaration of independence, saying: “We carry these facts to be intuitive, and that all men were created equally, and that they give their Creator with certain rights that are not declining, and that they are among this life, freedom and the pursuit of happiness.”
