The Swamp Princess is now the Swamp Professor. The semester is underway on Doechii’s new Live From the Swamp Tour, which kicked off with a sold-out show in Chicago on October 14. During the Grammy Award winner’s ceremony Song listwhich was divided into four “lessons,” she said She danced on desks for fans And they generally taught the audience what a good live performance looked like. from Charli XCX remix to Dancing with her sisters to Selling her light stickHere are all the highlights from opening night.
Doechii remixed her song “Convincing” with Charli XCX’s “360.” Naturally, the stage lights turned on brat green.
At one point, Doechii’s prep aesthetic extended to a set of classrooms where a select number of fans were brought on stage to be a part of it — and one lucky student at a moving desk received a roughly 30-second dance.
The younger Doechii twin sisters (and co-stars of the “Anxiety” music video) made their debut as backup dancers in the Chicago show, her team confirmed in a press release.
You can only start singing “Nissan Altima” in a position like this and then do the dance in high heels if you’re really confident with your lungs.
Doechii performed her freestyle to Beyoncé’s “America Has a Trouble” and inserted a snippet of “Blow” before performing “Slide.”
It’s not just limited to K-Pop artists anymore. Fans had the opportunity to purchase a crocodile-shaped light stick to cheer on Doechii during this tour. Photocards next, please?
