Ann Selzer’s Hysterically Inaccurate Poll Has Harris Leading Trump by Three Points in Iowa — Nervous
Sunday marks the one-year anniversary of pollster Ann Selzer giving Kamala Harris’ supporters false hope. It released a poll that notably gave the loser of the presidential election a three-point lead in Iowa over President Donald Trump. Selzer trailed by sixteen points at the end. Oopsie-doodle!
Here are the poll numbers. (reads)

I know this isn’t always popular to say but I love to see villains fail

Selzer maintains that it was not election interference.
It all seemed calculated to increase Democratic turnout by making Harris’ supporters think she had a chance. “Wow, if she does this well in Iowa, we can win this thing!” mistake! Here’s Rachel Maddow MSNBC Drink and share the Kool-Aid as expected. (He watches)
Flashback: One year ago, Selzer released a poll with Kamala Harris up 3% in Iowa. MSNBC popped the champagne.

We completely agree.
The posters remember those closing days of the 2024 presidential race.
I remember seeing a post the night before the poll was published and the person said they were at a private event with the billionaire governor. Pritzker said something exciting was coming out of Iowa…
I’m sure Selzer has a great retirement…

I’m not going to lie, this poll scared me when it first dropped. Then I saw all the wonderful analyzes on the reference tables and realized we were looking at a huge mistake. You nailed the strange uncertainty. In hindsight, I like that this got Democrats’ hopes up for a few days about their corrupt and undesirable nominee. They truly believed Harris was the second coming of Obama. 😂

Excellent clip, I had the same feelings as your husband, even without seeing any data, there was no way Harris was ahead in the polls by what we were seeing him @X.

I had the same reaction.
Then I checked the early voting data again and it was clear that DJT had the lead.
It would never have happened.

At the time, I said it was BS. I used to live in Iowa and had friends and family there. It’s Trump country.

The Iowa poll was clearly wrong. But it partially achieved what the Democrats wanted. She made headlines and gave (false) hope to Kamala Harris’ voters. Now, we can look back and laugh at how dishonest and hopeless the whole thing was. We don’t need opinion polls to know that.
Editor’s note: Schumer close here. Instead of putting the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats imposed a government shutdown of health care for illegal immigrants. They own this.
