Apple just updated the iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, and Vision Pro with the new M5 chip
As before, the 11-inch iPad Pro is priced at $999, and the 13-inch iPad Pro starts at $1,299. It is compatible with Apple Pencil Pro, USB-C Apple Pencil, Magic keyboardand Smart folio.

New MacBook Pro
Interestingly, Apple has not completely revamped the MacBook Pro lineup with the M5 chip. Instead, there’s just one new model: a 14-inch MacBook Pro with four storage options (512GB, 1TB, 2TB, or 4TB) and three unified memory options (16, 24, or 32GB). The base version starts at $1,599, as before, but if you max out all the upgrades, it could go up to $3,369. We’ll likely see the M5 Pro and M5 Max chipset options in 2026 alongside the 16-inch MacBook Pro.
You’ll notice similar speed increases as on the iPad Pro M5 — 3.5X faster AI performance, 1.6X faster graphics compared to the previous M4-powered MacBook Pro, and 2X faster SSD performance. Otherwise, this is the same 14-inch MacBook as before, with a claimed “24-hour” battery life, a mini LED display with a nano-glass option, a six-speaker system, and a 12-megapixel webcam. There are three Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI port, an SDXC slot, a headphone jack, and a MagSafe charging port.

New Vision Pro
Apple’s Vision Pro mixed reality headset, widely considered a hit with consumers, is back, but without major hardware changes. Well, there’s a new head strap: the double strap. It’s included in the box, and Apple says it’s soft and padded, allowing for a more comfortable fit. The headset is now powered by an M5 chip, which enables faster performance, sharper details via VisionOS 26, and better battery life. Specifically, Apple says the M5 displays 10 percent more pixels on micro-OLED displays than before, and the refresh rate can also jump to 120Hz.
Battery life is now 2.5 hours of general use, versus just 2 hours on the original Vision Pro. This extends to three hours with video playback.
Unfortunately, the price remains fixed at $3,499. It will arrive right before Samsung unveils its Android XR mixed reality headset, Project Moohan, which will hopefully come at a lower price.
