President Donald J. Trump is his second term with a hundred days, as a way to take revenge on his imaginative opponents and take the country in an authoritarian direction. For the May 5, 2025 cover, Barry Plate cartoonist focused on the effect of Trump’s actions and a large number of Americans. Plate said: “It is difficult to get a hundred days from the president’s period, without sitting on the fact that, after that, there are still 1361 days and eleven hours ninety minutes,” Plate said.
