“Gordon was present in an CBS interview because David Cass, the propaganda of Simon and Shostter, was not there,” he wrote, referring to the publisher of his book. “I included Gordon in the book, thanks for it was a creative contribution to the book, including the idea of coordinating the four private pages in the book.”

In another email, Belichick addressed reports that he asked to copy Hudson on every email sent to him.
“I have both a personal and professional relationship,” Belchick wrote in the email. “This is not a secret. They help me in the personal media, and for this reason I asked UNC to apply for media (for example CBS 60 minutes). Gordon has a zero participation in the UNC Football program, exceeding the degree with which the personal media intersects with it.”

Pelechik issued a statement saying that he “was surprised” about obtaining questions about his relationship, and that when Hudson intervened, she was doing her job. He continued accusing CBS of creating a “false narration” with the so -called “selective clips.”

In a separate interview with ESPN, Belichick insisted that Hudson is not involved with UNC football.
