Billie Eilish 3D Concert Movie Set for Paramount Release

A 3D documentary of Billie Eilish’s concert will be released by Paramount Pictures, she revealed Sunday night on Instagram on the final night of her “Hit Me Hard and Soft” tour in San Francisco.

The film, co-directed by Eilish and James Cameron, will be released in theaters on March 20, 2026, from Paramount and in partnership with Darkroom Records, Interscope Films and Lightstorm Entertainment.

“This is one of my favorite tours ever and being able to capture her and co-direct this film with her [James Cameron] “It was truly a dream come true. Can’t wait for you all to see it,” Eilish wrote.

In July, the two-time Oscar and nine-time Grammy Award winner announced at a concert in Manchester that she was working on something “very special” that would require her to wear the same outfit on multiple dates with the “Avatar” and “Titanic” director.

“Basically, I can’t say much about it but what I can say is that I’m working on something very, very special with a guy called James Cameron and it’s going to be 3D. So, take that as you will and these four shows here in Manchester, you and I are part of the thing that I’m making with him. He’s in that audience somewhere, just saying. So don’t mind me, I’ll probably also be wearing this exact outfit for four days in a row,” he told the crowd.

One year ago, Cameron’s Lightstorm announced a partnership with Meta to bring more 3D content with “big name IP” including concerts to Meta Quest headsets.

Her previous films include the 2021 documentary “Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry” and the concert film “Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles.”
