Black metal has a fascist problem – but it is recovered by the left metal
I am an enthusiastic listener for heavy music, including many sub -species of black minerals. Anna Shenabel’s reflections on her teenager as a result of black minerals and depression, and a subsequent horror in the revelation of the policy and motives of many musicians, resonated with me (black metal music full of anxiety became my identity, August 25).
Although minerals may reflect and intensify society’s hostility in general (fascism, racism, hate women, etc.), the scene has been recovered by strange and ostracized balls who are not just heavy music that is not just a haven, but a place to portray a more fair and gentle world.
Black metal teams in the United Kingdom such as Dawn Ray’d and Underdark Sing (or Scream) around Marxism and class solidarity. Backxwash and UBOA (Xandra Metcalfe) mix hip -hop and noise, respectively, to formulate the anthem of competing songs from the Queer and Trans. Ragana, division and soluble, and Panopticon is intended against black slavery and environmental destruction.
Spring of strong radical black metal bubbles strongly, and it is worth drinking deeply.

What a shame I am the black metal, a vast type consisting of teams from Azerbaijan to Kenya to Iceland to Peru, with hundreds in the United Kingdom alone. I will not deny that there is a remarkable presence of far -right projects within the black metal. Fortunately (for me at least), there is a vibrant black metallic scene, as it puts excellent music and directs the extreme emotional strength of this type to a very justified anger in the state of the world. Avoiding superficial actions takes some due care, but it deserves it more.

As a fan of some black metal, I read Anna Shenabel’s article with interest. The fascist sympathy for some creators in gender is well documented, but the modern black mineral world is varied. Witch Club Satan plays the fastest festival of sound this year, and the agricultural “orgasm” black metal with the aesthetic of Queer. Do not delete the entire type more than all the villain will reject, because some bad guys are Nazi sympathy.
When we are young and naive, we may pledge to our loyalty with foolishness, whether it is with Black Metal or Bay City Bollers. As we get old, we hope to improve in the wheat separation from the peel.
