Channing Tatum teases ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ movie
After his long-awaited Marvel debut, Channing Tatum is setting high expectations for what’s to come Avengers: Doomsday.
The actor who played Gambit last year Deadpool Wolverinejoked that fans “aren’t ready for what’s about to happen” in the upcoming MCU film, which also sees a long list of the franchise’s stars return to save the world.

“I’ll be playing my favorite character, Gambit… I was a kid in Pascagoula, Mississippi, throwing cards at friends in the living room. I’ve always wanted to be an X-Man, so now joining the Avengers is beyond my wildest dreams.
“In this movie, they have to exceed their expectations every time. I was like, ‘How are they going to do that?’ How are they going to get over the last thing they did?” I read the script, and my first question after reading the script was, ‘How are you guys going to pull this story off?'” Tatum added, “You’re not prepared for what’s going to happen.”

Tatum was supposed to play tackle X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), but the character did not appear in the film. Due to Tatum’s scheduling conflict, Taylor Kitsch played maneuver X-Men Origins: Wolverinewhich also featured Reynolds’ debut as Deadpool.
