Chris Evans and Alba Baptista have their first child together

The Marvel alum, 44, and his wife, Portuguese actress Alba Baptista, 28, on Friday welcomed their first child together in Evans’ home state of Massachusetts. the people reported Tuesday. The couple named their newborn daughter Alma Grace Baptista Evans, according to the outlet.
Representatives for Evans and Baptista did not immediately respond Tuesday to The Times’ request for comment.

During the Comic Con panel, Evans described the festivities as “amazing and beautiful,” but said he and his costars are happy to be done with it after the whole ordeal.
“Planning a wedding, it’s a lot,” he said. “For those of you who are married, you know, it takes a lot of effort, but now that we’ve been through it, we’ve been enjoying life and getting ready for fall, my favorite season. It’s the best time of the year right now. … Now we’re just relaxing, enjoying life and contemplating.”
Evans confided last year about his aspirations toward fatherhood to “Access Hollywoodsaying he “absolutely” hopes to be a “super dad” like his “Red One” co-star Dwayne Johnson.
“The title ‘dad’ is an exciting title,” the actor said.
