Chromebooks for Computer: The differences between Chrome OS and Windows

You can present the argument that you are getting a limited software experience, but in terms of devices, it is a great value.

There are some Windows laptops that you will never get on Chromebooks, such as separate graphics. You may not think about the Chromebook if you are a player anyway, unless it is only for the game to flow through GeForce Now or Xbox Game Pass.

Why buy Chromebook in 2025?

Chromebooks are more than just cheap laptops, but this does not mean that they do not exceed these low prices. About $ 500 is the cut point of what I consider really cheap laptops, and you always have to accept a level of settlement in that layer. Less -$ 500 laptops are often inflated, density, poor, poor ugly and have a disappointing battery life. Most often, they are not good options, even for students.

On the contrary, there are a lot of Chromebooks devices that are less than $ 500 that would do much better. I have recently experienced ASUS Chromebook Cx14 and CX15, both less than $ 300. These are not perfect laptops by any means, with less quality screens than I would like. But as a basic laptop, it is certain that it is better than any Windows laptop with a value of $ 300, you will be able to find it.
