Tensions are rising in multiple cities in response to the ICE raids, with clashes intensifying in the streets of Chicago between protesters and federal agents who fired tear gas, exposing some in the crowd. The dramatic standoffs come as Homeland Security officials say Mexican drug cartels are now offering cash rewards to target ICE officers and other high-ranking officials.
