Dan Bongino drops the mic on Gavin Newsom about law enforcement – Twitchy
One of the qualities that made Dan Bongino such an effective and popular conservative radio broadcaster was his ability to call out the leftist bulls*** whenever he saw him…and he saw a lot of him.
As Deputy Director of the FBI, Bongino is no longer on the media airwaves as he once was, but it is good to see that he has not lost that knack for destroying Democratic propaganda, corruption, and incompetence.
This morning, Bongino went on Fox News to respond to Gavin Newsom’s comments that “no one” wants federal law enforcement in Los Angeles or San Francisco to root out illegal immigrants and clean up crime.
In typical Bongino fashion, he closed Newsom’s argument with a few simple words. He watches:

Bingo. He could also have said: “Very strong, ruler.”
That’s pretty much all Bongino needed to say, but he went on to explain how many Newsom’s constituents want the law to be enforced to protect them, just as they were doing — and receiving thanks — in Washington, D.C.

But Newsom clearly never learned the old saying, “It’s better to stay silent and be seen as a fool…” as he ineptly tried to get back at Bongino regarding crime in San Francisco.

It is as if everyone does not yet know the game that the left has been playing for years. They stop reporting crimes until their crime statistics go down.
But this title is not entirely misleading. Crime is down in San Francisco this year. Hastily. And Bongino knows exactly why.

What is this, governor? Do you want the FBI to stop doing their job and leave, or do you want to thank them for the headlines that you can now try to take credit for?

Even Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser, who is on the far left, was able to thank the administration for its help in reducing crime in D.C.
Newsom couldn’t even bring himself to do it. Which tells us all about it.

When it comes to the Marines or National Guard, the governor has a say in those deployments, depending on the mission those forces will carry out.
But the FBI, DEA, and U.S. Marshals don’t answer to Newsom, and don’t owe him any explanation for working to do what he doesn’t: crush violent crime.
Newsom should know this (and probably does), but we appreciate that Deputy Director Bongino gave him the not-so-gentle reminder this morning.
