‘Dancing with the Stars’ Elaine Hendricks shares injury update and future on the ABC competition

“I started pain management today,” Hendricks said in a post on his website. Instagram. “I’m not dancing today, and I won’t dance tomorrow. We’ll get back to it on Friday.”
As for her future on the ABC dance competition, Hendricks said, “I’m getting ready to be on the dance floor next Tuesday.”
Hendrix’s Instagram post also included a message to fans and everyone who reached out to her for their support following the injury.
“Thank you for every message, vote and word of encouragement. We couldn’t do it without you,” read the caption on the post. “The hardest part of yesterday was not being able to show how amazing our piece was. This is my costume, hair, and overall inspiration that we planned last night. The DWTS creative team is the best!”
It appears that Hendricks has no intention of leaving the competition as long as she is still able to perform. Although she did not dance in the final show, Hendricks was judged for the Argentine tango she performed during Tuesday’s rehearsal before being carried off on a stretcher.
In a video she shared online from a hospital bed after the injury, Hendricks said: “Halloween is my favorite, and I’m devastated. I was so excited to share what we worked so hard on, even though you’ll be seeing a version of it. Thanks to your support, I’ll be back in the hall next week. I want nothing more.”
