Democrats are planning all over the country from the city’s halls in the republican regions
The Democratic Party plans for a wide range of city halls in areas controlled by Republicans in all 50 states to draw attention to the recent warning of the Republican leadership that the Republican Party lawmakers should avoid such open forums.
The initial wave of what Democrats describe the “popular city halls” will target nine Republicans in the House of Representatives in the battlefield areas, from Arizona to Pennsylvania, who believe the Democrats to be at risk in the mid -term elections.
The incursions into the Republican territories come at a time when the Democratic Party tries to find its political foot after the first 50 days of President Trump’s second term, and Republicans control each aspect of the federal government – and they exercise their power strongly.
Party officials said that the first nine city halls were just a start, with the aim of eventually holding events throughout the country to highlight some of the least popular proposals that the Trump administration and Republicans pressed in Congress.
The effort seeks to take advantage of the special advice this month from actor Richard Hudson of North Carolina, head of the Republican Campaign arm in the House of Representatives, who lawmakers stop the Republican Party from the city’s personal halls after some of them were transferred to screaming matches.
“If they do not speak to their voters, the Democrats will do,” Ken Martin, head of the National Democratic Committee, said in a statement to the New York Times. “For this reason, we will host the cities halls for people in all fifty states across the country, starting now from the targeted areas aimed at the Republican Party.”
At the end of this week, the state governor, Tim and Alzal from Minnesota, the 2024 Democratic candidate for the Vice President, will occupy the title of two of the events that were previously announced.
The idea of the city halls that host the Democrats in the Republican regions with Senator Bernie Sanders from Fairmont, who has already held five of these municipal halls, was started, where thousands of people drew. Actress Alexandria Okasio Cortez is expected to join him from New York for at least one event.
Separately, California’s actor Ro Khanna announced plans to hold events this week in three regions of California, all of them in the battlefield seats. Actor Maxwell Frost, Democrat in Florida, said this week that he is also planning to hold the city halls in the republican regions.
The wider wave of the city’s halls is planned by the National Democratic Committee, the Democratic Congress Campaign, the Democratic Committees Association of the State and the Parties of the State.
“These Republicans in the weak House of Representatives are increasingly fail to carry out the main foreigners in their jobs: a meeting with the people who represent them,” said actor Susan Delepine of Washington, Speaker of the Democratic Campaign in the House of Representatives.
The first nine -targeted Republicans are: actor Juan Ciscumani from Arizona, actor Gabi Ivans from Colorado, actress Anna Polina Luna from Florida, actor Zach Nun from Iowa, actor John James from Michigan, Anne Wagner representative from Missouri, and actor Nebraska and representatives of Ryan McKinsey. Pennsylvania.
