Democrats in the Senate Minister RFK JR requests a major hearing Robert P. Kennedy Junior
Democrats of the Senate of the Finance Committee called for the Minister of Health, Robert Kennedy Junior, to resign when the testimony began in front of the committee and faced questions about the disturbances facing his agency.
“The basic interest of Robert Kennedy is taking vaccines away from the Americans,” Ron Widen, a Democratic Senate member of Oregon, said in his opening comments. “People are harmed by his reckless ignorance of science and the truth in this effort. I hope at least, Robert Kennedy has a decent story of the truth this morning.”
Kennedy will witness the committee on Thursday in a visible hearing on the Trump administration’s health care agenda. This comes at a time when Democrats sharply criticize Kennedy’s leadership of the Ministry of Health and Humanitarian Services (HHS), indicating Kennedy’s repeated notes that express vaccine doubts, and claims that the scientific community is deeply diamond, and continuous turmoil Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Last week, Kennedy launched director Suzanne Monarerez, less than a month after she confirmed her position. It is now an escalation of a legal issue that challenges its removal.
Soon after the end of Monarerez, many pioneering public health officials resigned at the Center for Disease Control from their positions, noting frustration with Kennedy’s approach to vaccines and his management style.
Also last month, the Food and Drug Administration agreed to the new batch of Covid-19 vaccines, but it has placed restrictions on those who will be able to reach it. The agency has authorized footage of 65 -year -old or older people, and they are known to be more vulnerable than serious diseases than Covid infections. Younger people will not be eligible unless they have a basic medical condition that makes them vulnerable. Infectious disease experts say this policy can be very dangerous, especially for young children.
On Tuesday, Kennedy defended HHS treatment for measles, which affected several states. While Al -Amin said that his response was effective, public health experts said that his messages on vaccines were appealing and confusing.
Kennedy justified changes to the Center for Disease Control, describing them as “very necessary” in his observations on Thursday. “We are the most sick country in the world. That’s why we need to fire in CDC. They did not do their job. This was their job to keep us in good health.”
In June, Kennedy launched all the members of the 17th Vaccine Consulting Committee at the Disease Control Center – a step that challenged a promise he wore during his confirmation session of Republican Senator Bill Casidi, a doctor who heads the Senate Health Committee. Many Kennedy alternatives to the Consulting Committee have a date of doubt in vaccines.
When asked about the changes in the advisory committee, and how the vaccine and scheduling recommendations will change, Kennedy said he did not expect changes to the MMR vaccine (measles, mumps and measles).
