“My amazing hero and profound gift to a mother, Diane Ladd, stopped by this morning, at her home in Ojai, California.

She was the greatest daughter, mother, grandmother, actress, artist and compassionate soul that only dreams can create

We are blessed to have her

She’s flying with her angels now.”

“Diane was a fantastic actress and I feel like she was a bit of a ‘hidden treasure’ until she met David Lynch when he cast her as Laura’s mother in the film.” Wild at heart I felt like the world then really understood her brilliance.

She was invaluable as a SAG board member for decades, giving real actress perspective.

She lived a good life. She saw everything as it was. She was a great colleague to her fellow actors. She was funny, smart, generous.

But most importantly to me, she was an amazing mother to our amazing daughter. And for that I will be forever grateful to her.
