Los Angeles Dodgers star Teoscar Hernandez revealed that he and his wife will be changing their living space while in Milwaukee to face the Brewers in the National League Championship Series.

Not because the hotel they’re staying at isn’t good enough, but because Hernandez’s wife, Jennifer, isn’t fond of the rumors of paranormal activity associated with him.

The Pfister Hotel is a historic hotel in Milwaukee, and is where the Dodgers resided at the beginning of the franchise. However, Hernandez said before the second game on Wednesday night that he and his wife were moving because of rumors that the Pfister Hotel is haunted.

This is not uncommon, as Mookie Betts continues to book Airbnbs during the series in Milwaukee due to distressing stories about the hotel.

Hernandez said his wife heard some stories about alleged problems while staying at the Pfister Hotel from significant others in the Dodgers. The player himself does not care about the stories.

He said crossly. “I don’t believe in ghosts.” New York Post. “I’ve stayed there before. I’ve never seen or heard anything.

“But my wife is on this trip, and she said she doesn’t want to stay there. So we have to find another hotel. But I heard from other players and other wives that something is going on these two nights.”

Regarding what Hernandez heard from his colleagues, he said, “In some rooms, the lights go out and on. And the doors, there are sounds, footsteps, and things like that, I don’t know.”

Stories aside, Hernandez is focused on helping his team repeat as World Series champions, and he helped the cause early in Wednesday’s game. Hernandez hit a home run as part of the top of the second inning that gave the Dodgers the lead after the Brewers jumped ahead with a solo homer by Jackson Chorio in their first trip to the plate.

The Dodgers were able to stave off a ninth-inning rally by the Brewers in Game 1 on Monday night, as Blake Treinen got Brice Turang to hit to end the game with the bases loaded for Milwaukee.

If the Dodgers can’t get a two-game lead in the best-of-seven series, there’s a chance Hernandez and his wife won’t have to return to Milwaukee.
