Elizabeth Day tags along with UTA and Curtis Brown
Award-winning author and broadcaster Elizabeth Day has signed with UTA and Curtis Brown, where she will be represented in publishing, factual entertainment, media rights, creators, television and film. Together, the two agencies will support Day – who has written five novels and four non-fiction books – as she expands her global profile and continues to build a career spanning literary, broadcast and digital platforms.
Day’s latest novel, One of Us, was named a Sunday Times bestseller and will be published in North America in February with Viking, as part of a two-book deal brokered by Utah Publishing. ITV has also commissioned a five-part series adapted from its book The Party starring Luke Evans and Tom Cullen, which it will executive produce. Her latest non-fiction work, Friendship Addict: Confessions of a Friendship Addict, was number one on the Sunday Times bestseller list and has been translated into several languages.
Alongside her work as an author, Day has written for publications including The Times, The Guardian, Vogue, Elle and Vanity Fair, and is the author and host of the popular podcast How to Fail With Elizabeth Day. In “How to Fail,” which has reached more than 60 million downloads, Day interviews guests including Kate Winslet, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Salman Rushdie, Stanley Tucci, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Monica Lewinsky, Jon Bon Jovi and Malala. She is also committed to elevating female and diverse voices in podcasting and media through her company Daylight Productions.
In addition to working with UTA and Curtis Brown, Day will continue to be represented globally by Fane Group for brand deals, corporate events and live tours. To date, her tours have sold out major venues across the UK and Australia including the London Palladium, National Theatre, Barbican, Southbank Center and Sydney Opera House.
