Exclusive: Taiwan-based Each Other Films, a female-led production company headed by Jacqueline W. Liu and Tiffany Yu-Chia Chen, is launching a slate of feature films, series and documentaries targeting international markets.

Also on the list is a feature-length documentary Healsdirected by Emmy Award-winning director Pailin Fidel (Hope is frozen) about Taiwanese-Thai drag performer Pangina Heals, known from RuPaul’s Drag Race in Thailand. Produced by Each Other Films and Thailand’s N8 Studios in collaboration with World of Wonder, the film celebrates Heals’ career while also presenting a portrait of identity and community in Southeast Asia’s vibrant drag scene.

Rounding out the list is a big budget Taiwanese action adventure film The Odd Three: Madam Tigerdirected by Joseph Chen Chieh Hsu (Little big women, Double happiness), which reimagines iconic folklore characters as augmented modern legends. The film is currently in development, and aims to be the first in a new Asian universe of characters.

Founded in 2017 by producers Liu and Chen, Each Other Films focuses on telling stories that are emotionally resonant, gender-fluid and internationally relevant.
