Nicki Minaj’s song “Big Foot” didn’t get a full listen from Megan thee Stallion. During Megan’s testimony in the defamation trial against blogger Milagro Cooper, Cooper’s lawyer Jeremy McClymont asked the rapper about the song, to which Megan admitted she didn’t listen to the whole thing, according to court reporter Megan Cunniff. “It was so ridiculous at first. I couldn’t get over it,” Megan said subscriber. “I feel like it wasn’t something I wanted to keep listening to.” Minaj’s song “Big Foot” was a response to Megan’s song “Hiss” in which she called out people who were talking about shooting her in their music and referenced Megan’s Law, seemingly in reference to Minaj’s husband’s legal issues. “So you have the ability to turn off things you don’t want to listen to?” McClymont asked as a follow-up. “As far as Nicki Minaj is concerned, yes,” Megan replied.
This was not the only song referred to in the testimony on November 24. Megan was then asked about Drake’s song, “Circo Loco,” and more specifically about the line: “This bitch lies about getting shots, but she’s still a stallion.” At the time, it was speculated that the line was about her because she had apparently responded to the track online, but she refuted the reference in court. “If he was talking about me he could have been more direct, because I don’t have any butt shots,” Megan stated.
The trial is expected to have closing arguments on Tuesday, November 25. Megan Thee Stallion, legal name Megan Pitt, sued Milagro Cooper last year for defamation, accusing her of working with Tory Lanez to discredit her during his trial with Pitt where he was convicted of shooting her in the foot.
