Fantasy Football Week 8 Start ‘Em & Sit’Em: Bo Nix is the ‘starter of the week,’ plus sleepers at every position

There are six teams in Week 8 and several injury situations to monitor, making this one of the toughest scoring stretches of the season. Are you ready?

We lost several stars to Arizona, Detroit, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Seattle and the Rams. And we have a lot of injuries to deal with, including Lamar Jackson (hamstring), Jayden Daniels (hamstring), Michael Penix Jr. (knee), Bucky Irving (foot), AJ Brown and Chris Godwin (leg) listed as out.

There could be some great lineups in Week 8, and we’re excited to start players like Joe Flacco, Tyler Allgaier, Tez Johnson, Troy Franklin, and Marvin Mims, among others, for their matchups. It can be a lot of fun if you choose the right person to sleep with this week.

Obviously we prefer our squad to be full of the best players. But that’s not possible this week, so we’ll do our best to adapt. I know you’re ready. So let’s get started.

Colts (for ten)

The Giants are No. 1 in most fantasy points allowed against DST, and the Colts DST already had a big outing against Tennessee in Week 3 with a touchdown, four sacks, an interception and just 20 points allowed. I have the Colts DST ranked No. 1 in my Week 8 rankings, and this should be a dominant game again in a rematch with the Titans.

Falcons (vs. MIA)
Pirate (in NO)
Bengals (vs. NYJ)

Steelers (vs. GB)

The Steelers’ defense was playing well before facing the Bengals in Week 7 when Cincinnati had no turnovers, allowed just two sacks and scored 33 points. This week, Pittsburgh could struggle again at home against the Packers, who have allowed just three sacks in the past three games, with just two turnovers during that span. Besides, Green Bay has scored at least 27 points in three straight games. I’ll be on the Steelers DST in most leagues in Week 8.
