Former MP Blake Verrentold, who left his position in the allegations of harassment, dies in 63



The former American deputy in Texas, Blake Versetrold, who left Congress amid the allegations of sexual harassment. It was 63.

Steve Ray, a former political advisor, said that he had died at Corbus Christie Hospital and has suffered from heart and liver problems in recent years. Varrentold’s wife, Deby Verinkold, confirmed that he died on Friday.

Blake Versetled was elected in 2010, which has long been disturbed by the American Democratic Representative Suleiman Ortiz. Seven years later, Varantold announced that he would not seek to be re -elected.

In a video posted on the Facebook page of his campaign at the time, he denied the accusations of a former assistant aged, who included that he had been subjected to comments and sexual behavior and then released it after complaining. He apologized for an atmosphere in the office, who said, “The destroyed gossip, unwanted comments, unwanted jokes and behavior that was generally less than professional.”

In the video, he said that if he stayed in Congress, he would have spent months in an attempt to defend himself.

“We are all making mistakes,” Ray said on Saturday. “He made some mistakes.”

Ray described him as an “technician” interested in the Internet and technology before participating in politics.

“He has done a tremendous act as a member of Congress in this field,” said Ray. “His heart was always in the right place.”

Ray said that before he became a member of Congress, Farenthold was a friend of a conservative radio interviewer.

“When he decided to run, someone in the world thought he would win,” said Ray.

When his position left, Farenthold started his own radio program, which lasted until his death.

In addition to his wife, Varantold survived by two adult daughters, Morgan Bokom and Emana Lawrence, Rai said.
