Francisco Lindor makes history while Mets continues to pay the qualifiers
Chicago – with one ideal early autumn strike, made the Branscu Lindor explosion all kinds of history. For Mets, though, there is still only one type of date that it makes – which falls them in the post -season.
In this regard, the Mets team helped themselves out of the 8-5 Cubs on Thursday, behind another picnic on a veteran similar to the dynamic rising right, right of Nolan Maccine, who hit 11 professional fighters and scattered five Chicago while running with great progress. New York escaped from the main series of Rigge Field with a large series winning.
However, with three games to go, Mets did not stand to hold anything.
“We have to go there and take care of business,” said Lindor. “The teams there are fighting for the qualifiers are really good, so we have to go there and accomplish it.”
Mclean got a lot of help in a drama -free victory at a time when nothing was easy for Mets. Homer, the thirtieth of Lindor, in the third match, which pushed in New York to 3-0, and the three Brett Patty shot in the fourth match that opened the game.
Next is Miami, Mets will fly to Florida still control their fate in the race at the last place for the National League. New York Cincinnati leads one match and Arizona by two, but Mets will lose a tie against any of the club if they end up with identical records in the normal season.
“You want to survive,” said Lindor. “We are in a situation at the present time where we control our fate. But we have to take care of the deeds. Marles played as well, and we know that.”
Homer Lindor was noticeable for several reasons. Lindor, who passed 31 of this season, now has his second career 30-30, which makes him only the second primary in obtaining two such campaign, according to Research Espn. Bobby Watt Junior was the first Kansas City.
In addition, Lindor joins Mets Star Juan Soto at 30-30 club for this season, making it only the third couple of his teammates in the same season. Others Haward Johnson, Daryl Struberi (1987), and Dante Bisht “Rochiz” Dante Bishit and Ellis Perks (1996) were.
As usual, Lindor deviated from his role in his accomplishments.
“I am blessed to be around good colleagues, elite people, at the highest what they do,” said Lindor. “When it comes to me, I am surrounded by good teammates, hitting coaches, and trying to find this edge every day.”
This also represents the Lindor VI season of 30-Eymar, which transferred it to the legend of the Cubs Erney Banks to get most of these campaigns by Shorestop. Lindor now follows Alex Rodriguez only, who had seven.
Finally, Lindor joins SOTO and Pete Alonso for The Mets at Run Run 30, the first time in the 64 -year -old Mets and who got three players.
“It is very impressive,” said Mets director Carlos Mendoza. “This type of players we have here appears. They were carrying us for a whole year.”
McLean may have first appeared in this season to install a real boost for this year, but if he started earlier, he would be a dancer. McLean is now 5-1 on eight beginnings since its promotion with the MINISCULE 2.06 era. Mets, which caused the struggles of descending in the second half in all kinds of headaches to their fans, caused 6-2 in its beginnings. Other beginners in Mets are from 6-12 combined since the beginning of the first McLean on August 16.
“I just try to keep the game plan as much as possible,” said McLein, who used all stadiums in a arsenal. “Just play the cat and mouse game constantly, which I think is important.”
The end of the season in New York against Marilyins begins on Friday, while the REDS team ends in Milwaukee and the visit of Arizona San Diego.
With a few other nights like Thursday, the Mets team hopes to go to Los Angeles to play the NL West Champion team in the Wild-Card championship series, a match from the sparkling national league championship series last year. But first there are works to attend in southern Florida.
“You are away from this series, you are clearly satisfied, but you still have to go out there and take care of the work in Miami,” said Mendoza. “We are in this position, but we are still controlling.”
