Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 Release Date, Venom
Marvel Animation has announced that Season 2 of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will be released on Disney+ in fall 2026. The news came at New York Comic Con, along with a trailer shown to fans in the room. The trailer revealed that Season 2 will introduce the Venom Symbiote, Gwen Stacy and bring back Charlie Cox’s Daredevil.
Hudson Thames voices Peter Parker in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, which debuts on Disney+ in early 2025. The animated series takes place in a separate universe from Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in the MCU, and there are a lot of key differences between the two wall-crawlers.
Instead of Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark mentoring young Peter Parker, “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” replaces him with Norman Osborn (voiced by Colman Domingo), known as the Green Goblin in the previous films and comics. This version of Norman is the CEO of Oscorp and gives Peter and his associates internal training, but his true motives are suspect.
Instead of Zendaya’s Mary Jane and Jacob Batalon’s Ned, Peter’s new friends are influencer Harry Osborn (Zeno Robinson) and secret magic user Nico Minoru (Grace Song). The cast also includes Eugene Bird as a young version of classic Spider-Man villain Tombstone, Hugh Dancy as Otto Octavius, MCU star Charlie Cox as Daredevil, Kari Wahlgren as Aunt May, Alex Lu as Amadeus Cho, and Jonathan Medina as the villainous Scorpion.
The first season of “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” ended with several exciting events. Doctor Strange (Robert Atkin Downes) helped Spidey fight the alien Venom after he arrived from another dimension. Norman Osborn secretly kept a piece of the symbiote to experiment on. It is also revealed that Peter’s father Richard, long thought dead, is actually alive and in prison.
