Here’s how to use the calculator application to make transfers quickly.
How to use your calculator for transfers
1. Open your calculator.
2. Click the calculator icon in the lower left corner of your screen next 0 number.
3. Click the switch next to Transform.
The input space for the calculator – the area above numbers and buttons – will be divided into a higher and bottom field with separate values in each of them. By default, the values will enter the upper field and the bottom is what you turn to. If you click the arrows to the left of your values, your entry into the lower field will change and will turn up.
To change what you convert – such as distance or space – press the value indicator to the right of the upper or lower value. This will pull a list where you can search for different units by inserting them into the search bar across the top of the list.
You can also scroll through a circular below the search bar and take advantage of the different units categories, such as space, currency and temperature. Click on the required category, then click on the right unit – so if you want to convert grams to get a recipe, click weight then gram.
Once the unit is chosen, it will return to the main calculator. Now, you should click on the value indicator next to the other value – again, either higher or bottom – and specify the unit you want to convert to. You should already be in the correct unit category, so you just have to determine the unit that must be converted to – so if you want to convert a gram to a pound, you just have to click fairy.
Now if you see a recipe calling for 500 grams of pasta, you can quickly convert it if you need it – this is about a pound of pasta.
