Alec Baldwin’s wife took to social media to make a claim that shocked everyone after her exit from the ABC competition show.
“I was bullied outside of the show,” she said in an Instagram Live on October 12 after heavy criticism on social media. “I did, that’s for sure. That’s for sure.”
Despite feeling hostility from viewers, Baldwin said she enjoyed her time on the show.
“I am so grateful for the experience I had Dancing with the starsShe said. “I never thought I would dance again, and I have to thank all of you for writing on the show and making this wild experience happen.” I’m so lucky to be able to share this with my family. I loved everyone I met there, and I’m really excited to encourage my fellow teammates.
This wasn’t the first time Hilaria has spoken out about all the negativity surrounding her during her time Dancing with the stars. In a video posted on October 11 to mark World Mental Health Day, she said: “I would be remiss if I didn’t talk about the issue in the room, which is that there has been some bullying that has been targeting me over the last few weeks.”
She continued: “One of the most common things people say to me when they meet me — when they actually meet me — is how surprised they are by the negativity I receive because, in reality, I am not the negative things some people say, and it breaks my heart.”
“They take lives and destroy mental health, and it is tragic how widespread this behavior is, and the countless suffering suffered on a daily basis,” she said. “Some of the people who have harassed me for years, misrepresented me, and lied to me outright, I know they will only be satisfied when I’m gone. It seems like nothing I can say or do will be right in their eyes.”
