Jaguars Tab Rams’ James Gladstone as a new general manager

Jacksonville, FLA. – The Jacksonville Jaguars Have HIRED Former Los Angeles Rams Personnel Executive James Gladstone as the Team’s New General Manager, The Team Annieded Fried.

Gladstone, who has been with rams over the past nine seasons, has been the director of the team’s scout strategy during the past three seasons. In this role, he worked with the General Manager Les Snead in strategic planning and the implementation of the team’s daily scouts. He also discovered the players and worked on private projects.

“James as a choir, and our option, appeared after a strenuous interview, but stimulating does not leave anything to doubt,” Shad Khan, the owner of Jaguars, said in a statement. “Every candidate has been delivered, and I am grateful to all of them to prepare them and the time he spends with us this week in Jacksonville., Chemistry and severe understanding of the league and our team, to name a few, will immediately bring him to Jaguars. [head coach] Liam Quinn [executive VP of football operations] Tony Bosselli and [chief football strategy officer] Tony Khan, but most of all it will be rewarding. I am sure of that.

“This is also an occasion to thank Jaguars fans everywhere for their support and faith over the years. I know that we can rely on them to welcome James in Duval while gathering behind our organization and our team and we are drawing a new path and valley forward.”

Gladstone joined Rams in 2016 as a great assistant for Snead. He was promoted to a senior assistant for the GM/Player Coordinator in 2018 and then to the director of the team’s scout strategy in 2019.

Gladstone spent two years in this role before his appointment as the director of the scouts at RAMS in 2021. He again took over the role of the director of the scout strategy in 2022.

After Garrete Grouf took the first place in 2016, the rams went seven years without choosing the first round because Snead used it in multiple deals. One of these professions brought midfielder Matthew Stafford to Los Angeles in 2021 for Jawf, and the first round was chosen in 2022 and 2023, and the third round was chosen in 2021.

The rams won in Super Bowl in the first Stafford season.

The rams were used to choose the first round in 2024 on the edge of Rusher Jard Verse (generally 19th), which became the defensive rising in the Associated Press for this year after leading all young people in QB Hits (18), pressures (77) and Hurries (56).

Coen is familiar with Gladstone from his four seasons with rams, where he worked as a receptionist and QB Coach 2018-20 assistant as an offensive coordinator in 2022.

Gladstone, 34, was smaller than the final five qualified people interviewed at the GM website. He beat San Francisco Josh Williams (37), Vice President of Players John-Eric Sullivan (47 years old), Chicago’s assistant General Motors Ian Keningham (39), and Jag JM Ethan Woo (50).

Gladstone replaces Trent Baalke, who was the general manager of Jaguars from 2021 to January 22, when he and Khan decided to separate from mutual methods. Khan initially kept Baloki when he shot coach Doug Pederson on January 6, saying that afternoon at a press conference that full organizational reform would be “suicide.” He also said that if any training candidate expresses reservations about the organizational structure or working with Baalke, he will be ready to address the topic.

Perhaps this was the cause of the division. Jaguars Ali Ben Johnson, the main candidate for training in the recruitment course, lost to Chicago Beers. That left Coen, the Tampa Bay attack coordinator, as the first candidate, but Coen retracted a scheduled personal interview with Jaguars on January 22 and chose to stay with BUCS.

After the launch of Baaleke, Khan got Coen to agree to Jacksonville the next day. The presence of BAALKE was not the main reason for Coen’s refusal to conduct a personal interview at the beginning, but it played a role, according to the multiple Jaguars sources. Queen spent today in Jacksonville, and the two sides eventually agreed to an agreement late night.

With Gladstone is now in place as a general manager, the three best decision makers at Jaguars-Gladstone, Coen and Tony Boselli-all of them are all in their roles for the first time.
